Patrick Patterson – $2,331,593

The salary-range makes a bit of a leap down for the next role-player on our list. Patrick Patterson is a 31-year-old, nine-year NBA veteran playing in his first season with the LA Clippers.

His $2.33 million contract means we’ll be evaluating him against players making between $2.91 million and $1.87 million this season.

It’s a very long list, so we will just bold any player which we’d make the swap. Many of them will be young players on their rookie contracts with which their current teams would never part, some are underpaid veterans in the same boat. There aren’t a lot of realistic two-way deal possibilities in this group.

The full list of players in that salary range:

Cedi Osman, Donte DiVincenzo, Bryn Forbes, Andrew Nicholson, Goga Bitadze, T.J. Leaf, Lonnie Walker, Alex Caruso, Malik Beasley, Luka Samanic, John Collins, Kevin Huerter, Caris LeVert, Marko Guduric, DeAndre Bembry, Matisse Thybulle, Harry Giles, Jeff Green, Wesley Matthews, Kyle Korver, Udonis Haslem, Jared Dudley, Rajon Rondo, Dwight Howard, Thabo Sefolosha, Tyson Chandler, Gerald Green, J. J. Barea, Wilson Chandler, Nene Hilario, Josh Okogie, Vincent Poirier, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Brandon Clarke, Terrance Ferguson, Grayson Allen, Anthony Tolliver, Grant Williams, Jarrett Allen, Pascal Siakam, Skal Labissiere, Chandler Hutchinson, Dejounte Murray, Alec Burks, Damian Jones, Darius Bazley, OG Anunoboy, Ante Zizic, Monta Ellis, Markieff Morris, Aaron Holiday, Luke Kornet, Ty Jerome, Willie Cauley-Stein, Austin Rivers, Carmelo Anthony, Anfernee Simons, Matt Barnes, Nassir Little, Torrey Craig, Moritz Wagner, Dylan Windler, Caleb Swanigan, Trey Burke, Kyle O’Quinn, Michael Carter-Williams, Mike Muscala, Nerlens Noel, Troy Daniels, Ben McLemore, Spencer Hawes, Edmond Sumner, Noah Vonley, Landry Shamet, Mfiodu Kabengele, Kyle Kuzma, Jordan Poole, Tony Bradley, Keldon Johnson, Derrick White, Robert Williams, Josh Hart, Jacob Evans, Anderson Varejao, Dzanan Musa, Omari Spellman, Shabazz Napier, Glenn Robinson, James Ennis, Tim Frazir, Larry Sanders, Bruno Caboclo.

Quite the list, with more than a few standouts. Many of them are young players who slipped in the draft but have made a name for themselves by outperforming their draft slot.
