The LA Clippers are currently holding a team camp in Miami. By coming together, it’s apparent just how committed this group is to winning.

According to recent Instagram story posts from several players including Jerome Robinson, Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell, the whole LA Clippers team is now in Miami participating in the team’s camp.

If you missed the announcement a few weeks ago, Kawhi Leonard organized a players only mini-camp to take place in Miami.

By participating in something like this prior to preseason officially starting, the Clippers roster is showing just how committed they are to winning the NBA Finals this season.

The leadership portrayed here by Kawhi is especially important. He joins this team after winning his second Finals MVP and is looking to bring yet another franchise their first title.

A mini-camp like this also helps to remove egos from the room. By bonding together both on and off the court before the real grind starts, both new arrivals and returning players can get to know each other and feel each other out. The team participated in a mini-camp like this last summer and the camaraderie between that group was seemingly second to none.

This isn’t the first time the team has been seen doing stuff together this summer either. Lou, Landry and Trezz have both been seen playing in Rico Hines’ summer runs. There were also several players in attendance for NBA Summer League in Las Vegas with Lou and Bev infamously snapchatting right after the Kawhi Leonard and Paul George acquisitions.

All these gatherings point towards the team truly enjoying each others’ company, which can really matter when things get tough during the year. The group will have to be a cohesive unit if they intend to win it all this season. Having a camp in August to come together is a very strong step in the right direction that should have a positive impact for the entire season.
