2. LA Clippers
Speaking of superstar duos, the LA Clippers’ new tandem of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard should make them one of the top played teams this year.
Both players can light it up from anywhere on the court and they are two of the top defenders in the league. There’s just a lot to like about both of them.
Outside of those two, opposing point guards will be hounded by Patrick Beverley, who also gives you a nice kick-out option from deep.
Landry Shamet will also often be open from deep and after a historic shooting season for a rookie, he’s sure to have a high three point rating.
When the bench comes in, players will have a great time running the pick-and-roll with Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell. With the ability to “get hot” for players, Williams becomes one of the more fun bench guys in the league to use.
The Clippers are solid at every position, making them well rounded while still offering two superstars to play with. They were only a Division 2 last year online, but a jump to Division 1 along with becoming one of the top used teams is fully expected.
