The LA Clippers have a solid chance of adding one or two star players in free agency, but which teams will be the biggest threats to their goals?

It would be nice if the LA Clippers could pick their stars this summer and move on, but unfortunately, it won’t be that simple. Not only are the players they reportedly plan to pursue unsure about their own futures, but the Clippers won’t be the only team that has some skin in the game.

Several teams will have the capacity to sign at least one max-level free agent this summer, and many of the players seem to overlap — meaning the demand will be higher than the supply. It’s the sad truth, but there’s only one Kawhi Leonard or Kevin Durant to go around.

Our only question, then, is which teams pose the largest threat to the LA Clippers’ free agent chances?

We’ll start with No. 5:
