Tobias Harris joined Jim Rome on his show to discuss the LA Clippers’ early success and the organizational changes that led them to be better.

Tobias Harris joined The Jim Rome Show on Friday to discuss the LA Clippers’ early success and what the team’s mindset was after all their so-called superstars were traded away.

You can see a portion of the interview below.

Harris acknowledges that the team is made up of players who have been or currently are being overlooked and that they are setting out to prove themselves. Harris also makes mention of how selfless everyone on the team is.

Harris also states the obvious in mentioning how deep the Clippers roster is. The team is notably one of the deeper rosters in the league, playing at least 11 deep on many nights.

When asked to describe the attitude of the team, Harris said the team is not only physically tough, but mentally tough and that opponents know they are going to get push-back for the entire time they are on the court.

On the season, Tobias Harris is averaging 21.0 points per game on 50.4% shooting (40.5% from deep on 4.8 attempts), 8.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists. His play in October and November was enough to earn him Western Conference Player of the Month after he led the Clippers to the best record in the West.

Harris will be a free agent this summer after declining an extension offered by the team. Both sides do seem to want to remain together, but only time will tell if that will be possible. The LA Clippers have their sights set on nabbing a superstar talent this summer, so re-signing Harris may not be their first priority.

The Clippers square off against the Phoenix Suns tonight looking to rebound from a devastating loss to Miami on Saturday.
