1. Los Angeles Lakers

Since the rise of the Lob City era Clippers, the battle of Los Angeles between the city’s two NBA franchises has been lopsided in the favor of the Clippers. As LeBron James made his free agency decision to play for the Los Angeles Lakers this off season, the rivalry will enter a new chapter.

This off season has seen Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley address the dispute over which team currently rules Los Angeles. “I’ll tell y’all right now, we are the best team in LA for sure,” Beverley said, as per Tomer Azarly of Clutch Points.

The Clippers trounced the Lakers 3-1 in the season series during the 2017-18 campaign. While both rosters have changed drastically over the off-season the animosity remains among the teams that call the Staples centre home. The Lebron-Lakers will prove to be the biggest matchup in the impending season for the Clippers as they hope to prove they still run LA.
