After going month by month, we give you our final record prediction for the 2018-19 NBA season for the Los Angeles Clippers.

We did it! After going taking each month and going game by game, we have made predictions for all 82 of the Los Angeles Clippers regular season games. It was no easy task as we tried to be as unbiased as possible for a fan run website.

After all was said and done, the Clippers final record came out to be 47-35.

Want to see how this came to be? Here are the months broken down:

The prediction of 47 wins is a bit lofty, especially in the still as loaded as ever Western Conference.

47 wins would be five more then the team was able to pull off last season. Granted, the team did suffer from an astounding amount of injuries and some roster turnover, so maybe this prediction isn’t too outlandish.

Finishing at 47-35 will not guarantee a playoff berth for the team. Last season, both the seventh and eighth seeds finished with this record with the ninth place Denver Nuggets just missing at 46-36.

The top teams of the conference won’t have too much movement, but there are some playoff teams who may fall out of the bottom half. New Orleans who lost DeMarcus Cousins, might struggle some. The Portland Trailblazers and Minnesota Timberwolves could also drop out of contention if they decide to trade one of their star players in C.J. McCollum/Damian Lillard or Jimmy Butler respectively.

Still, the addition of LeBron James to the Lakers makes them an instant playoff contender after finishing just 35-47 last season.

The Clippers will likely be engaged with the Lakers and the aforementioned Blazers, Wolves and Nuggets for one of the final playoff spots. Health will be a huge factor for the season and one major setback could keep any team from making the postseason.

Next. Do the Clippers need to start Lou Williams?. dark
