Upon the released NBA regular season schedule, we breakdown the month of February for the Los Angeles Clippers.
Earlier this month, the NBA released the anticipated 2018-2019 regular season schedule. Now with February being the second shortest month due to All-Star break, we will break down a tough road trip for the Los Angeles Clippers ending with nine games away and only two at home.
February starts off with a brutal six game stretch on the road against likely playoff teams for the most part. The month starts off with a back to back at the Detroit Pistons for their final reunion with Blake Griffin and at the Toronto Raptors, where players might pitch to Kawhi Leonard before he hits free agency if things do not go well his season.
Then, the team has one day rest to travel to Charlotte and play the Hornets, followed by a day off and then in Indiana. This is followed by two tough games against the Celtics then the Timberwolves. The team has a short rest before they fly home and host the Phoenix Suns to cap things off before the All-Star break.
After that, they only have one game at home before they are back on the road for yet another two games. Finally, they finish the month off at Utah Jazz while still on the road. All in all, this is a brutal month, one of their toughest even, despite it being a shorter month.
