Every team in the NBA has a lot of facts that are forgotten or go unnoticed over time. Here are 10 fun facts you may not know about the Los Angeles Clippers/Braves franchise.

1.) July Babies

Our current 2018-2019 Clippers roster has many players that were born in July. Wesley Johnson kicks it off on July 11. Our point guards Patrick Beverley and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander share a birthday on July 12. Next, Tobias Harris and Mike Scott have back-to-back birthdays on July 15 and 16 respectively. Recently acquired Renaldas Seibutis was born on July 23 and Jawun Evans has the last July birthday on July 26. DeAndre Jordan, born on July 21, would’ve been the eighth member of this list had he not departed to Dallas. It may seem random, but its uncommon that seven players on the same team have birthdays within such a close proximity to each other.

2.) Rich Owner

Steve Ballmer, owner of our beloved Los Angeles Clippers, is the richest owner in all of North American professional sports. This money came from his 14 years as an executive for Microsoft. Ballmer has and is willing to use his money to better the Clippers and the community. Ballmer is already the best owner in Clippers history and has owned the team since 2014.
