The Los Angeles Clippers’ Patrick Beverley keeps showing his hate for the Golden State Warriors and we absolutely love it.

Is there anyone more competitive in the NBA than Patrick Beverley? I think not. The Los Angeles Clippers’ guard recently spoke to the Houston Chronicle and showed how much his competitiveness has pushed him to dislike the Warriors.

"I hate Golden State. I wish the Rockets would’ve beat them…. (Q) If the Rockets and Warriors meet again in the Western Conference Finals next season, who do you think will win?A: Rockets. I’m real anti-Warriors. You could name anybody (against the Warriors), I’d probably say the other team."

You just can’t help but admire that. Even though the Rockets and the Clippers had some words this year and Bev was involved, it’s good to see he still has his priorities straight. Although the Clippers have not won a lot in the head to head match-up over the past few seasons, many fans still consider the Warriors a rival.

It also helps that he still has some love for the Rockets, despite him being traded by them last summer. Several of his friends were still part of the team that ultimately lost to Golden State in the Western Conference Finals.

This isn’t the first time Bev has spoken out about his distaste for the Warriors this summer. If you remember, earlier this summer he was approached by TMZ.

Bev declared that the Clippers were the best team in the league followed by the Warriors, only because they were the reigning champions. I love him and the Clippers, but that is still a completely outlandish statement.

It has just been a big summer all around for the guard. Beverley is currently hosting a youth basketball camp in Houston. He was finally cleared to practice and is looking like he’ll have the starting role once the season starts. His mom won The Price is Right. It’s been a whirlwind for him and we are just glad he’s a member of the team and cannot wait to see him back on the court.
