Is Los Angeles DeAndre Jordan’s forever home? Who should the Clippers target in the NBA Draft? Find out more in today’s edition of Locked on Clippers.

If you haven’t heard the news yet, then now is as good a time as ever to announce that I’ll be taking over as host of the Locked on Clippers podcast. The show is part of the Locked on Podcast Network and is in no way affiliated with FanSided, however, I’ll be posting show summaries here daily — in addition to my usual content.

In today’s episode, I spend a majority of the time talking about DeAndre Jordan. The Clippers are facing something of a predicament with Jordan’s contract, for a number of reasons.

First of all, Jordan is due $24 million next season — if he opts-in. If he doesn’t, he’ll enter the free agent market and be as good as gone. The Clippers could offer him an extension if they feel inclined to do so, but you have to consider if the value is worth that price. Jordan is the 4th-highest paid center in the league, and I doubt that most people would argue that he’s the 4th-best.

Besides Jordan, I also touch on the upcoming NBA Draft. I highlight a few of my favorite prospects as well as talk about the possibility of trading up.

As part of my will-be-usual Tuesday segment, I take a step into the past and talk a bit about Corey Maggette, and what he’s up to these days. If you watch Clippers pregame before tip-off, you’ll all about his current career.

Lastly, I touch on former Clippers in the 2018 NBA Playoffs. Eric Bledsoe made headlines last week for pretending he didn’t know who Terry Rozier is, Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford got into a fight, and J.J. Redick hasn’t stopped knocking down triples in Philadelphia.

I hope you all enjoy the show, and remember to check back here every day for a new one!
