With more Kawhi Leonard rumors popping up, Bill Simmons and others have predicted the star forward will end up on the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Kawhi Leonard rumors just don’t seem to stop. On his podcast today, Bill Simmons stated that he would bet that Kawhi ends up on the Los Angeles Clippers. He made sure to note that this isn’t based on anything he has heard, so take that with a grain of salt.

Simmons seems to think that the Clips would give up Tobias Harris, along with both of their first round picks in the lottery this summer. That’s a steep price, especially if you can’t get a guarantee from Kawhi that he will re-sign after this season.

Meanwhile, Las Vegas has the Clippers as the third best odds currently to end up with Leonard on their roster next season. The Spurs have the best odds, while the 76ers have slid into second. It’s worth noting that Vegas believes the Clips have better odds than their rival across the hall.

The Spurs having the best odds does make sense. With both sides not commenting heavily on the situation, many have wondered if the drama is just something being manufactured by the media. According to Michael C. Wright of ESPN, the Spurs plan to have a sit down with Kawhi and his party over the summer to try and make sure everything is good moving forward.

However, league sources seem adamant that Kawhi’s group wants him to play in a bigger market.

"Multiple league sources also told ESPN that the Spurs have grown worried that Leonard’s group has an ulterior motive to fray the relationship and get Leonard traded to a larger market such as Los Angeles (Leonard’s hometown) or New York or Philadelphia."

Kawhi to the Clippers is still a very real possibility. Signs point to the team having a strong chance at bringing him in. The price for the All-Star may be high, but bringing in a Finals MVP may just be worth the risk.
