Cuttino Mobley (7) vs. Danilo Gallinari (10)
It’s Cat vs Rooster in this battle of pure shooters.
Cuttino Mobley
Cuttino Mobley got to do something that most Clippers players never sniffed.
In the 2006 NBA Playoffs, Mobley and the Clippers made it to Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals. It was played against the Phoenix Suns, one of the favorites to make it to the NBA Finals that season. Neither team won consecutive games throughout the whole series, and while the Clippers fell short, their effort was a sign of things to come.
“Cat” Mobley shot 41.1% from beyond the arc in the following season, and he would later finish his career in Los Angeles in 2009. Last Summer, he showed he’s still a capable hooper when he and Maggette teamed up in the BIG3 League.
Danilo Gallinari
Despite the small sample size, Danilo Gallinari has proven that he was born to be a shooter. “The Rooster” is a career 37% shooter from deep, and his friendly personality and background has gathered him a worldwide fanbase.
Injuries have kept him out of a majority of games this season, but Gallo still gives his best every time he’s on the floor.
