Montrezl Harrell

Montrezl Harrell has that elusive NCAA Tournament Championship under his belt. However, the validity of that win is now in question, since the NCAA has vacated it in their books. But that’s beside the point. The players were there when it happened and you can’t take their rings nor their experience.

Harrell was just a freshman when his team won the title, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t a big part of it. Harrell got major minutes during the season when Gorgui Dieng missed time during the season. And despite only scoring 2 points in the National Championship Game, they were a memorable two.

In the next couple of years, Harrell helped the team reach the Sweet Sixteen and the Elite Eight.

In his last season, Trezz scored 24 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and had 4 assists against NC State to get his Cardinals into the Elite Eight.

A few other Clippers players did participate in March Madness, but did not have the success these three did.
