The Los Angeles Clippers, who have two first round picks, have been linked to Miami guard Lonnie Walker in early 2018 NBA Draft projections.
The Los Angeles Clippers could potentially have two lottery picks in the 2018 NBA Draft. With one of those picks, they very well could look at Miami guard Lonnie Walker. Walker is a 6’4″, 192lb 19 year old guard. He also just became the first freshman in the school’s history to be named to the ACC All-Conference team.
Several mock drafts have Walker linked to the Clippers. CBS Sports recently did a “Ceiling Draft”. This mock draft sorted players by their potential ceiling. At number 13?
Lonnie Walker to the Los Angeles Clippers. CBS described him as having “the look”.
"You know how a guy can sometimes just have The Look? Walker has The Look. (And I’m not talking his amazing haircut, which teammates call “The Pineapple.”) Walker just looks like a guy who belongs on the basketball court, all smoothness and explosiveness and beautiful shooting."
That’s the kind of thing you want to hear about a guy your team might take, right? It definitely has me intrigued. We did quickly profile Walker earlier this season, so make sure to check that out before continuing here.
Now, let’s take a deeper look at him and why the Clips should be paying attention.
