Los Angeles Clippers’ Sam Dekker and Olivia Harlan ask for charity donations instead of wedding gifts
The Los Angeles Clippers’ Sam Dekker and fiancé Olivia Harlan are asking for charity donations in lieu of wedding gifts this summer.
Los Angeles Clippers’ Sam Dekker and his fiancé, Olivia Harlan, are asking for donations in lieu of wedding gifts.
They ask donations be made to the Children’s Cancer Family Foundation of Northeast Wisconsin. It’s as easy as clicking here and entering your information. CCFF looks to help parent’s with the financial burden associated with treatment as well as give them the emotional support needed in their tough time.
As we covered back during the holidays, this foundation has a special place in Sam’s heart. Being a Wisconsin native, he was drawn to the charity after his grandmother passed away from cancer.
He has been a constant presence over the past 4 years and has made a special connection with several children, including one boy who was buried in a Sam Dekker jersey after his unfortunate passing.
The couple will be married on July 14th in Door County, Wisconsin. They have been engaged since May of 2017. With Sam playing basketball and Olivia being a journalist, the two still find time to spend together. She told us back in November that the couple always tries to have at least one date night a week where they don’t bring their phones. It’s just the two of them. Pretty admirable for a young couple in this day and age, especially one as busy as they are.
