Offense: C+

Averaging 9.6 points a game as a rookie G-League call up is impressive and Wallace does so at ease. His offensive skill set however contains its limitations.

Wallace’s biggest question mark coming out of college was his jump shot, especially from beyond the arc. Considering how important perimeter shooting is in the NBA , Wallace shooting just under 33% from three seems underwhelming. There is however a lot of possibility for improvement in a young promising talent like Wallace.

His offensive skill set does include great off ball movement, cuts to the basket, good bounce and first step on drives to the rim.

Furthermore, Wallace does seem confident in his abilities and does not hesitate at the NBA level while either creating his own shot or finishing a play. Wallace shoots 45% from the field while being able to facilitate for his teammates by dishing out 2.3 assists a game.

If Wallace’s G-League tenure is a precursor to his eventual NBA role, his stats have just begun to show and will improve in due time.
