Newly acquired Forward Tobias Harris recorded 24 points and 4 rebounds in his Los Angeles Clippers debut. The Clippers defeated the Chicago Bulls, 113-103.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last week, you should know by now that Blake Griffin and the LA Clippers are no longer buddies.

The franchise shipped him out last Monday, along with Forward Brice Johnson and Center Willie Reed. In exchange, the Detroit Pistons sent Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, and Boban Marjanovic, as well as a first and second round pick.

Many Clippers fans didn’t know what to expect from the new trio prior to Saturday’s game, since Harris, the highlight of the package, isn’t yet a household name. He isn’t a flashy player, his name doesn’t stick out, and, of all things, he played in Detroit. That’s far from an easy path to publicity.

But Harris answers those questions in the best way he knows how: With his game.

Against a Bulls squad that wouldn’t go away, Harris recorded an impressive 24 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in his Clippers debut. He connected on 3 of his 6 attempts from three-point range, and made 10 of 19 shots overall.
