The LA Clippers travel to Washington D.C. tonight to face the Wizards as they look to win their fourth straight game.

The LA Clippers head into the nation’s capital tonight to take on John Wall and the Washington Wizards. The Clips, coming off of their 106-95 victory of the Orlando Magic, look to earn a fourth straight victory.

These two teams just faced each other less than a week ago, when the Clippers started their streak. In that game, Austin Rivers scored 16 points, Danilo Gallinari added 25, while Lou Williams lead the way with a whopping 35 points, including a late dagger from three.

Injuries

Tonight, the Clippers will be without two of their top three scorers from last week’s match-up. Danilo Gallinari suited up for the Wizards game for the first time in weeks, but was injured again and will be out for a few weeks. Meanwhile, Austin Rivers suffered a concussion in the second quarter of the game in Orlando, so he will not be available tonight.

Patrick Beverley is obviously out for the year and although he was shooting in pregame the other night, there is still no update on Blake Griffin’s status. The good news? Milos Teodosic is back and seems to be getting into the swing of things.

UPDATE: Just kidding. He’s not playing either.

The Opponent

The Wizards have been streaky with a 15-13 record. Many predicted that they would be a top three team in the Eastern Conference, but injuries to their star point guard have held them back. John Wall did return earlier this week, but is on a minutes’ restriction. With the team’s top two defensive guards out, both rookies will have to step up.

Both Jawun Evans and Sindarius Thornwell will have a tough time against Washington’s two All-Star guards. If they can limit them, the Clippers still have a solid shot at winning. If not, expect a blowout in DC.
