10 takeaways from the LA Clippers first 10 games of the season
Montrezl needs more minutes
Montrezl Harrell was one of teams few bright spots in Wednesday’s 120-107 loss to the Spurs. Harrell made the most of his minutes and played with great energy and tenacity off the bench. Hopefully his performance leads to an uptick in playing time, because his rebounding and hustle are exactly what the Clippers need right now. “Montrezl is great. Every time he plays, he does something good for us… I love his energy,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers said after the game against San Antonio. Harrell plays too hard to be buried on the bench behind Willie Reed and DeAndre Jordan. Montrezl hasn’t played much, but when he has he’s made the most of his opportunities.
