Wesley Johnson
Wesley Johnson is having the surge the team has needed for the past two seasons. With the possibility of Danillo Gallinari and Sam Dekker being out, Johnson will have more time to run with the first team. It will give the team a different look and the possibility of having multiple small forwards on the floor if they can produce enough offense.
Johnson is in his third year with the team and while his stint has been a bit of a disappointment he does have time (because of his contract) to turn it around. The problem hasn’t been his defense its been hitting his shots when having the opportunity.
Johnson is a good player, but he’s never been able to play up to his expectations. Johnson can buy himself time on the floor if he can help space the floor by hitting his open shots.
Miscellaneous
Andrew Han of ESPN on Sam Dekker, Austin Rivers, and the possibility of Danillo Gallinari being out this coming game:
"Doc Rivers: “Dekker’s out for at least the next game and Austin’s is out for sure. And Gallo’s out the next two practices and maybe the game as well. He did something to his foot — it’s not serious — but we’re going to act like it’s serious. So, we’re going to shut him down for a while.”"
