DeAndre Jordan can still jump really high
With Chris Paul traded to the Houston Rockets in the offseason, fans and critics began to question where DeAndre Jordan would get all of his points from this season. Although he only scored six points in the Clippers’ preseason opener, Jordan answered that question with a few ferocious dunks. Jordan and the two new Clippers’ point guards displayed good chemistry, with Teodosic producing two of DeAndre’s dunks on beautiful highlight passes and Beverley dishing out Jordan’s third dunk, arguably the highlight of the game.

The point guard found Jordan rolling to the basket with a bounce pass around the free throw line and Jordan exploded off of two feet, stretching to throw down the one-handed poster jam on Serge Ibaka.

Jordan did look a little sloppy on defense at points throughout the game, finishing with five fouls and at one point asking to come out of the game because he was gassed. The center also missed the only free throw he attempted, even though his form did look much improved and more fluid than last year.
