Speculation: Dwyane Wade adds fuel to the LA Clippers’ fire
Dwyane Wade will most likely receive a buyout this season from the Chicago Bulls. Could he end up on the LA Clippers?
Dwyane Wade reportedly will get bought out at some point this season by the Chicago Bulls. Many have speculated that the future Hall of Famer will go join up with his buddy LeBron James in Cleveland. However, reports did surface that Wade could have interest in returning to Miami or heading out west to Los Angeles. Now, he is adding more fuel to the fire that he could join the LA Clippers.
On Saturday, Wade posted an Instagram video of him and his son, Zaire goofing off after a morning workout. Look where the workout was:
Yep, that’s the LA Clippers’ practice facility. How fitting is it that Wade is there practicing his lob finishes? He also puts down a nice two handed dunk while bragging that he can still throw it down at the age of 35.
Does this mean Wade is testing out the place he may be working out this season? Probably not. It’s pretty common for practice facilities to be opened up for players, especially ones of Wade’s stature.
Still, with rumors circulating that he will be on the move this season, it is fun to speculate. Wade might not be the player he once was, but he could still contribute to the Clippers and would give the team even more depth at the guard position. If he were looking to join the team, the Clips could even move one of their other guards mid-season. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
