May the 4th be with you! We here at Clipperholics love Star Wars, so why not share how these two great things are combined?
May the 4th be with you. As we celebrate May 4th, let’s take a second to look at how our beloved LA Clippers have meshed with the ever popular film franchise, Star Wars.
Star Wars Night 2016
Most recently, the LA Clippers had a Star Wars Night on December 12th, 2016. This coincided with the release of the first standalone Star Wars Story: Rogue One on the 16th. The Clips had Stormtrooper dancers, appearances by characters and even gave away a Death Star themed basketball.
You gotta admit that the ball is pretty nifty. Hopefully with The Last Jedi releasing this December, we’ll be treated to another Star Wars Night. Maybe this time we can get Steve Ballmer to have a lightsaber fight at mid court or ride a Microsoft brand speeder bike around the court.

As a fan of both Star Wars and the Clippers, you won’t believe how many times I’ve messed this up. “Hey, did you see CP3’s cameo in Rogue One?” It really makes you feel like an idiot.
