After staving off elimination on Friday, the LA Clippers look to win the series Sunday night against the Utah Jazz.

Well folks, this may be the very last game we get to watch the “Lob-City” Clippers play. So soak it in. we’ve been lucky these past several year to have a good/great basketball, they have brought us many great moments–Game 7 against the Spurs. They have also brought us plenty, and I mean plenty, of heartbreak–Blowing a 3-1 lead against Houston. So really whether we win or lose, soak it in and appreciate it.

With a win tonight, the Clips would move on to face a surging Warriors team, which will make for an unentertaining series, most likely.

Keys for a LA Clippers win.

  1. CP3, aka The Point God, has to take it to another level–Like Super Saiyan level . Granted he has been one of the best players the entire Post-season, he has to take it to an even higher level.
  2. DJ has to be engaged on both ends. Too many time in Utah DJ looked out of it, he wasn’t contesting shots. I’m sure some of that has to do with playing in a higher altitude, but that shouldn’t be a problem Sunday night.

Prediction:

In my opinion, I think LA will dominate tonight, I really wouldn’t be surprised to see them blow out Utah. CP3 should go off again, probably something like a 32-14-7 type game. DeAndre will probably wreak havoc on defense and put on a show catching lobs. It wont mean much though, a win would set up a date with Golden State, which isn’t much of a prize.
