In their final game of the regular season, the LA Clippers look to get revenge on the Sacramento Kings and wrap up 4th place in the West.

Well everyone, it all comes down to this. The LA Clippers control their own destiny.  With a win tonight, they will earn 4th place in the Western Conference, regardless of what the Utah Jazz do. With a loss, they may drop to 5th and not have home court advantage in the first round. They need to channel their inner Flint Tropics and win 4th place.

Luckily, the Clips are squaring off against the Sacramento Kings who are looking to the future. After trading Demarcus Cousins, the team is hoping to get young talent experience and to find a new budding star.

More from Clipperholics

LA is coming into the game on a six game win streak. After impressive victories over San Antonio and the Houston Rockets, there should be some confidence heading into this final game. One more victory would be nice as they turn their focus to the Utah Jazz.

Last Time

Unlike LA Clippers’ teams of the past though, they need to still focus on tonight. They cannot take these young Kings for granted. Last time they met, the Kings pulled off an unthinkable comeback in LA and stunned the Clippers. With so much on the line tonight, the Clips should be locked in.

Expect the team to come out gunning early and hopefully give the bench a chance to redeem themselves for last time in the 4th quarter. With playoffs starting on Saturday, it would be in the best interest for Doc to try and get his starters as much rest as possible while still securing the victory.

The battle for home court concludes tonight, so let’s hope the team of the past week shows up to play.
