Could the LA Clippers be headed for another Re-Brand?
When the news first broke two years ago of a Clippers re-brand, most of us were ecstatic. Most of the enthusiasm was lost when the new LA Clippers logo was revealed. Could we be in store for a new and improved logo in the future?
Imagine seeing a new pizza advertised at your local pizza shop. The advertisement has this delicious looking pizza, the one with the perfectly golden crust, the right amount of melted cheese, and the exact desired amount of pepperoni and pineapple. Sounds amazing doesn’t it?

This pizza taunts you for weeks, your cravings take over and you order one. You eagerly wait for this perfect pizza to show up. When it finally arrives, you pay and then you bust that bad boy open expecting to see this pizza that was sent from the heavens, only it looks nothing like its supposed to. It has a burned crust, there is too much sauce. They didn’t even include the pineapple. It’s just a disaster of a pizza.
Imagine how disappointed you’d have felt. Imagine how much anger you’d have. You waited and waited for this pizza, it was supposed to be amazing, now yore left with this barely edible thing they called a pizza.
That’s how most of us Clippers fans felt. We were thrilled with the news of new logo, the internet was full of fan made logo designs. Some of those were amazing looking, it just added to the excitement.
When the logo was finally revealed, we were all disappointed. We expected this amazing new logo. Instead, we got something that could be done in Paint.
While I have to admit that the logo has grown on me—I’ve bought several shirts and hats with it on it– I’d be happy to get a new one. I think we all would.
We may be in luck.

Check out his book! It has Clippers logo designs. Pretty exciting isn’t it? With the switch from Adidas to Nike jerseys, this may be the time to do it.
Lets hope sometime in the near future we get confirmation from the front office about a new logo. In the mean time be sure to check out Reddit for the inevitable fan made designs and speculation.
