4. Rivers and Crawford had a solid tryout.
I really can’t imagine what goes through a players head when their name is floated around on the trade block. Both Austin Rivers and Jamal Crawford have had their names thrown around in a trade for Carmelo Anthony. Tonight, they had a chance to tryout for Knicks.
Rivers finished the game with only seven points, but he set a career high with 10 assists. Jamal, on the other hand, helped the Clippers pull away late with two clutch baskets. Crawford finished the night with 20 points.
Both players will likely remain Clippers for the rest of the year if I had to guess, but if the Knicks were on the fence about trading for them, they certainly put on a show.
