1. Personnel Decisions

James already stated that he wanted to play with some of his best friends. That means the Clippers should start their pitch with Chris Paul.

After Paul, the Clippers only have six other players under contract including DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin, J.J. Reddick, Paul Pierce, Branden Dawson and C.J. Wilcox.

With the salary cap set to rise in the next few years, James could have some room to bring other players to Los Angeles.

Therefore, James could bring whatever other friends are willing to play for cheap. We already know James is great at recruiting veterans to play for the low.

Besides, Doc Rivers does not have the best track record of adding free agents during his tenure with Los Angeles. James could help turn that around.

Finally, James loved working with Tyrone Lue. Lue has a history with Rivers. That means James will love Rivers as a coach too.
