Intuit Dome is one of the best arenas in professional sports, but there won't be much for Los Angeles Clippers fans to cheer about there next season (and for the foreseeable future). Attendance probably won't be high for the majority of 2026-27, but there is one game that should draw a lot more attention than the rest.
The Kawhi Leonard trade with the Raptors has been on hold because Toronto wanted to wait until the investigation concluded. Now that it has, the deal is expected to go through soon, ESPN's Shams Charania said Thursday. When it becomes official, Nov. 2 will be a date circled on the calendar.
In less than two months, the Raptors will visit the Clippers for the first and only time of the season, with tip-off scheduled for 10 p.m. ET. Assuming that the trade goes through, that will be Leonard's first time back in Los Angeles.
Since Kawhi got away relatively unscathed from the scandal (apparently because he wasn't aware of what was going on) with a $700,000 fine, that will be a therapeutic session for fans to let their boos fly.

As of Friday, Sept. 4, tickets for Nov. 2's game start at $27 (not including fees). There are seats available in the lower section for less than $99 (not including fees), in case you want to increase your chances that Kawhi will personally hear your chorus of boos over the rest.
If you go, be sure to cheer for, you know, the Clippers too, rather than putting all your effort into making sure Leonard feels unwelcome. You may not want to support Los Angeles by going to a game at all during the season, and you're certainly justified in feeling that way, but the players are some of the biggest losers in all of this mess that they, like fans, had nothing to do with.
Leonard isn't fully to blame, as the Clippers should've known better than to funnel him millions in four off-court endorsement deals, but he gets to walk away from it all and try to chase another title in Toronto. You'd think that he, at the very least, on top of the fine that's more like pocket change to him, would be facing some suspension.
If he were, though, he might not be available to play on Nov. 2, since that's only a couple of weeks into the regular season, so there's that.
