Fans of the LA Clippers and every team across the association are already brimming with excitement to see what the NBA's schedule will look like for the 2024-25 season. Between opening night, the In-Season Tournament, Christmas Day, Martin Luther King Day, the All-Star break and other special occasions, there will be plenty to look forward to.

The NBA schedule-makers are currently hard at working formulating a schedule for every team. Of course, the second it is released to the public, die-hard fans will be planning trips, social outings, and everything else one could imagine around the schedule for their team's home and away games.

Typically, the schedules for each team are released simultaneously. As for when exactly the schedule will be unveiled, it is hard to pin down an exact date. But what we can do is take a look at which day it was released in previous years and make an educated guess based on that information.

2023 - August 17

2022 - August 17

2021 - August 20

2020 - December 4

2019 - August 13

2018 - August 10

2017 - August 14

2016 - August 11

2015 - August 12

2014 - August 13

The NBA will likely release the schedule the third week of August

Based on all this data, we can safely assume that the schedule will be officially released by the NBA somewhere around the second or third week of August. As we can see, every schedule release in the last 10 years has come between August 10 and August 20, with the exception of the 2020-21 season where the season's start was delayed.

We also see that in recent years, the release date has gradually moved back, with August 17 being the exact date for the past two offseasons. As such, we can safely assume that before the third week of August is complete, we will know all we need to about the league's schedule in 2024-25.
