The LA Clippers are quite familiar with Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic, and vice-versa. Doncic has faced off against the Clippers a grand total of 30 times in his career, with 13 of those games coming in the playoffs.

The most recent meeting between the two parties came on Saturday night, when LA got the win over Doncic and the Mavericks. Luka had a strong individual performance with 30 points and a team-high four assists.

His solid game brought back a conversation about Doncic's history of playing well against the Clippers, with some fans on social media running with a narrative that Luka 'owns' the Clippers. While Luka is a fantastic individual talent and is fun to watch play, he is far off from 'owning' LA. In fact, he does not even have a winning record against the team.

Luka Doncic has a losing record vs the Clippers

In his 17 career regular season matchups against the Clippers, Luka Doncic holds a 7-10 record overall. In the playoffs, he has gone just 5-8 against LA.

His individual stat lines have certainly been gaudy. In the regular season, he averages 32.8 points and 7.3 assists when facing the Clippers, and those numbers balloon to 33.5 points and 9.5 assists in the playoffs.

Doncic has undoubtedly had fire in his eyes when playing against the Clippers over the course of five-plus seasons of his career, but that has not always translated into wins.
