Media day was conducted for the LA Clippers on Monday, and now the team has arrived in Hawaii for training camp. During media day, we learned quite a bit more on the Clippers' season outlook, how things transpired over the course of the offseason, and what fans can be looking forward to.

Of course, after the departure of Paul George, the Clippers were due for a massive roster overhaul. The front office knew they needed to get some fresh faces in the building the moment George announced he would not re-sign, and they worked quickly to recoup the roster.

One of the Clippers' biggest offseason additions was Kris Dunn. The 30-year old guard is a new face, and he brings a significant amount of experience playing in this league with him. Dunn has suited up for five NBA franchises before joining LA, and he will look to be a major contributor as the Clippers attempt to retain relevancy in the Western Conference.

If you look at Kris' career history, it is clear that he has bounced around a bit over the course of his eight-year career. He has been in certain situations that favored him and others where his talents did not shine as much. But those who know his game know him as a defensive-minded guard who can rustle some feathers at that end of the floor. At media day, Dunn was asked what else Clippers fans can expect from him this season.

Dunn gave Clippers fans an honest assessment of himself

"A dude that likes to go out there and have fun," said Kris. "Little bit of swag, I can get a little chippy from time to time, that comes with the defensive territory mindset." This is a statement that is sure to excite fans, and probably even brings back memories of Patrick Beverley. There is no doubt that Pat Bev became a Clippers fan favorite simply from his defense and gritty attitude.

"And just go out there and try to win games," Dunn continued. "We want to bring ball games into the new arena, give the fans what they want to see. The arena is unbelievable. But in order to make the full experience the best that it can be, we've got to win games for them." Of course, this is what everyone wants to hear. Everything else is dust in the wind, but winning is paramount.

Just like James Harden spoke on this team having high expectations for themselves, it seems everyone is on the same page when it comes to working as hard as they can to put a winning product on the floor. I believe Kris Dunn will become a new Clippers fan favorite and a household name in no time.
