The LA Clippers will take on the Boston Celtics for a Saturday afternoon matinee at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday. The Clippers are coming off their first loss in three weeks following a nine game winning streak, hoping to begin a new streak against the Celtics.
Boston comes to Southern California as the top seed in the Eastern Conference and having won six of their last seven games. With the Celtics having two days of rest under their belt, the Clippers will have to put together a strong effort to avoid losing two games in a row.
Fans have been monitoring the status of Kawhi Leonard after he missed his first game of the season Thursday night. LA will have a much more difficult time on Saturday if Leonard is not able to suit up.
Is Kawhi Leonard playing today vs the Celtics?
Kawhi is currently listed as questionable on the Clippers' official injury report with a left hip contusion. He suffered the injury Wednesday night against the Dallas Mavericks after colliding with Grant Williams.
Hopefully, Leonard's hip discomfort will not keep him out for more than one game. But this could become a cause for concern if he begins to miss more time on the court.
