On Friday night, the LA Clippers will return to action and face the Memphis Grizzlies at Crypto.com Arena. It will be the team's third game of a four-game homestand following a three-game road trip.
The Clippers got back in the win column on Tuesday night against the Hornets. Now, they will be taking on a Grizzlies team that has been rejuvenated since Ja Morant's return to the hardwood.
Prior to Morant's return from suspension, Memphis was a measly 6-19 and sat toward the bottom of the Western Conference standings. Since his return, the Grizzlies are 4-1 overall and have yet to lose a game with their superstar point guard in the lineup.
Is Ja Morant playing tonight vs the Clippers?
Of course, Ja's availability will be a huge factor in this one. As of this writing, Morant is currently not on the Grizzlies' injury report and is expected to play against the Clippers.
Memphis defeated LA in their only meeting so far this season on November 12. The loss came during the Clippers' losing streak where they could not seem to defeat anyone. This time, though LA is performing better as a team, the matchup should prove more difficult with Morant on the floor.
