Clippers insider puts an end to Kawhi Leonard injury rumors
By Will Eudy
We know how discussions tend to go when they are focused around Kawhi Leonard and his health. There has always been such paranoia around the LA Clippers' best player, with fans constantly trying to get insider info on what is going on with Kawhi's well-being.
Well, they got just that on Friday afternoon. After a Chinese account on X that was supposedly one of Leonard's agents put out a post saying there "might be some bad news" regarding Kawhi's health, it understandably sent the fanbase into a frenzy. Thankfully, Clippers insider Law Murray stepped in to provide some clarity.
Responding to the alleged "bad news" from the admittedly questionable account posting in Chinese, Murray revealed that he had been in close contact with a source close to Kawhi. According to that source, Leonard is "fine."

Every Clippers fan that had begun to worry over the initial post can now breathe a big sigh of relief. Of course, it was worth wondering how credible the intial post was anyway, but you can never be too sure when the subject is Kawhi Leonard's health.
For a quick recap, Kawhi was sent home from Team USA camp over the summer due to injury concerns. But after the Clippers' training staff disagreed on his injury status, it appears he is all good to go for the start of the 2023-24 NBA season. Now, we have further confirmation that there is nothing to worry about regarding Leonard's well-being.
According to all the information we currently have available, there is no reason to question Kawhi's availability and he should be set to go for the start of training camp in Honolulu, Hawaii. After that, he can begin the regular season on the right foot with a clean bill of health.
