2. OG Anunoby
Another of Kawhi's Raptors teammates, OG Anunoby has made considerable growth since that momentous 2018-19 title season. Coming in as a second-year player, OG was known to have tremendous defensive potential and a budding offensive game as well. Unfortunately, he was forced to sit out for their playoff run that year due to injury.
But since then, Anunoby has grown into a terrorizing two-way threat. Just a year ago, he earned All-Defensive second team honors with the Raptors, finishing seventh in Defensive Player of the Year voting. In his 23 regular season games after being traded to the Knicks in 2023-24, he averaged a 39% shooting mark from beyond the three-point arc for the third time in his career.
Suffice to say, OG has grown into a tremendous difference-maker at both ends of the floor. The only problem the Clippers would have in acquiring him is his large contract. Anunoby was earning $18 million this past season and will have a player option in New York for next year. Should he decline and opt for free agency, the Clippers would have to put together a sign-and-trade agreement that would potentially involve dealing Paul George, or another big contract to make room for OG's likely sizeable new contract.
