Clippers cannot afford to trade Norman Powell

Perhaps the most underrated talent on the Clippers' roster is Norman Powell. A true professional scorer, Powell has the ability to score at all three levels, and has been doing it efficiently in LA this season.

Whether he is moving off the ball, attacking and getting downhill to the cup, or coming off screens and hitting pull-up jump shots, Powell is one of the most lethal scoring guards in this league. He has once again been showcasing his brilliant ability all year long.

During the Clippers' six-game winning streak, Powell has been averaging 15.2 points while shooting 50% from the field. In three of those games, he saw the floor for 30 minutes or more. Most of the time, opponents are so heavily fixated on stopping Kawhi Leonard, James Harden and others that it is easy for them to neglect Powell.

In short, Norman has been a huge spark plug for the Clippers all season long. LA simply can not afford to trade him based on the consistency he has been able to provide this group. Other big time scorers in this league exist, but few do it with the precision and efficiency that Norman Powell has provided for the Clippers.
