As a team that could not even manage to win 20 games last season, the Utah Jazz's front office certainly has a goal this summer of returning to the days when they were a winning franchise competing in the Western Conference Playoffs. The era with Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert ended years ago, and Utah has been trying with a core around Lauri Markkanen, but it has yet to succeed.

Injuries are partly why, but more importantly, the Jazz lack experienced talent. Their supporting cast of John Collins, Collin Sexton, and Jordan Clarkson is not enough, and this summer holds massive opportunities to trade, sign, and draft to take the league by storm next season.

Regarding trading, their front office must ensure that the pieces they acquire have a proven track record with minimal injury history so the rotation can remain sufficient through 2025-26 to at least make the play-in tournament. This is an important goal, as the Jazz have not been in a postseason environment since their time with Mitchell ended due to a loss to the LA Clippers.

Coincidentally, the Jazz should look into this specific trade package with the Clippers to maintain a balanced group of rising stars while entering another tier of competition in the Western Conference in the near future.

This trade would not only benefit the Jazz but also become a massive win for the Clippers, something they desperately need amid the current drama surrounding the league.

The Utah Jazz have two ideal trade pieces that would transform the LA Clippers' rotation into unstoppable

Although the NBA offseason will begin after Sunday, the Utah Jazz are on the clock as they can make trades at any time they wish. Rumors are flying over social media that John Collins and Collin Sexton are available, and Utah may want an additional selection along with quality veterans in return.

Moreover, Jazz fans are in luck, as the LA Clippers would likely be heavily interested in Collins and Sexton. These two are high-end role players that would be the heart and soul of Tyronn Lue's 'hustle' lineup.

If Collins and Sexton are dealt to LA together, the Clippers would have to wind up trading Norman Powell, Bogdan Bogdanović, and Kris Dunn, who spent two seasons in Utah before arriving in Inglewood, California.

The Clippers could also include a second-round pick, yet this trade would be a massive win for LA as their bench would likely have at least one Sixth Man of the Year candidate by the end of the 2025-26 regular season.
