Despite the elation of adding new players at the deadline, the LA Clippers are coerced to inform their fan favorites of the recent trade news. The ultimate dream is winning the Larry O’Brien Trophy, and executive Lawrence Frank must complete his tasks as LA's president of basketball operations.
Furthermore, Shams Charania, arguably the NBA’s most popular source, released a finalized trade between the Clippers and Atlanta Hawks. LA landed a notable sixth man in Bogdan Bogdanović for two talented players in Terance Mann and Bones Hyland. In addition, the Hawks included three second-round picks.

The trade with Atlanta is a much better move than the Clippers’ previous one for veterans Patty Mills and Drew Eubanks. This speaks volumes, as Frank's deal with Utah helped LA in ways they needed.
Bogdanović may have injury concerns, but he is genuinely a gifted scorer when he plays like himself. More prominently, he helps the Clippers’ offense, which has been a hole this season for head coach Tyronn Lue.
Watching Hyland and Mann in Hawks uniforms is an unwanted sight, but trading them was a decision that had been unsettled for a while. Frank repeatedly kept Mann out of trade talks, and it only worsened the minutes distribution for Lue once the Clippers found total health.
Trading Terance Mann and Bones Hyland for Bogdan Bogdanović is an upgrade for the LA Clippers.
Without even taking into account the picks they received, the LA Clippers improved by moving Terance Mann and Bones Hyland for Bogdan Bogdanović. He gives Tyronn Lue a highly anticipated offensive boost, and supplies a skill set superior to those of Mann and Hyland.
With the 22nd-best offensive rating in the league, Bogdanović’s scoring will be heavily utilized by Lue if he remains healthy. The high level of shooting, shot creation, and finishing will be a joy for Clipper fans under Intuit Dome.
Moreover, the Serbian star posted 10.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 24 games for Atlanta.
Additionally, Bogdanović has a team option before the 2026-27 regular season. This was another major aspect of the trade, as the front office could decide on his future corresponding to his health and contributions.
Conversely, Mann had not been good for the Clippers this season. His averages were the lowest since being a rookie, and his role was not to be found. Hyland was viewed similarly, as he has not been in the rotation for months.
