Clippers should make ugly Myles Turner trade to help solve Kawhi problem

The LA Clippers should trade for Myles Turner or Kyle Kuzma to help restock their draft cabinet.

The LA Clippers are in an absolutely brutal situation after the way the Kawhi Leonard issue unfolded. The Clippers were docked five future first-round picks, and now, it seems like the only way to get out of their current dilemma is to trade for more. Luckily, the Milwaukee Bucks have a situation that the Clippers could potentially take advantage of.

According to recent reports, the Bucks have been trying to trade guys like Myles Turner and Kyle Kuzma all summer. So, if the Bucks get desperate enough, the Clippers should pounce on the opportunity to trade for one of those two guys if it means getting a first-round pick or even multiple second-round picks back in return.

At best, the Clippers could help those two guys revitalize their trade value and then flip them at a later date. But even at worst, the Clippers would get more draft picks to restock their draft cabinet, which should be their primary goal right now.

Clippers should trade with Bucks to fix their draft cabinet

Last summer, the Bucks waived and stretched Damian Lillard and signed Turner in free agency in an attempt to appease Giannis Antetokounmpo. That didn't work out too well.

This Summer, the Bucks ended up trading Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat, and now, Turner is pretty much useless to them. The same goes for Kuzma, who the Bucks traded Khris Middleton for, again, to try to help Antetokounmpo.

Now, as the Bucks look to avoid a roster crunch, they have been looking to trade Turner and Kuzma. That's where the Clippers can come into play and help them resolve the situation.

The Bucks don't have a ton of first-round picks to trade. Over the years, they traded most of their first-round picks in an attempt to build solid, championship-caliber teams around Antetokounmpo.

However, they got some picks from the Heat this summer. And if they are truly desperate to get rid of Turner and Kuzma's massive contracts, perhaps they could be willing to part ways with a first, or again, even some seconds.

If that opportunity presents itself, the Clippers should be willing to jump at the chance to take on bad contracts in exchange for restocking their own draft cabinet, which was ripped apart by the Leonard punishment.

Taking on Turner or Kuzma's bad contract wouldn't be ideal, but the Clippers aren't really in a position to be too picky anymore when it comes to adding draft picks.
