Next to superstars Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, there is no limit to how many two-way wings the LA Clippers should roster. These are guys that play their role when Leonard and Harden are available. In the games they miss, head coach Tyronn Lue provides minutes to those ready to catch the world off guard.

The first example that comes to mind is the recent Clippers’ overtime loss to the Boston Celtics at home. Before the game, Leonard, Harden, Norman Powell, and Ivica Zubac located their names on the injury report. Consequently, fans expected Lue to fold against the defending champions.

Though the Clippers lost, Lue had three role players stamp a notable effort to win. Derrick Jones Jr., who played 44 minutes, was the Clippers’ top performer, as he finished with 29 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals. He also sent the game to overtime with a clutch defensive possession and game-tying layup.

Furthermore, sixth man Kevin Porter Jr. obtained the start and overpowered Boston's scouting report. He concluded the game with 26 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists in 39 minutes. Amir Coffey, another talented forward, also performed strongly, with 24 points in 44 minutes.

Nonetheless, these players routinely stand out, supporting why it is always a great idea to add more.

Coincidentally, the Bulls just waived two players, one of which could help the Clippers’ wing depth.

The LA Clippers should sign Torrey Craig to a veteran minimum contract.

Similar to Derrick Jones Jr. and Nicolas Batum, Torrey Craig is a veteran, two-way forward who could flourish off the LA Clippers’ bench. He adds size, strength, and a three-point clip that Tyronn Lue’s offense needs given the Clippers’ efficiency this season.

Although Craig has only played nine games for the Bulls this season, he has recorded 6.9 points and 2.8 rebounds, shooting 42.9% from three in 12.6 minutes.

His numbers, readiness, and off-the-court presence will coerce several contenders into making a call. However, the Clippers present the best situation in a new arena with a conditioned Kawhi Leonard.

Moreover, Lawrence Frank may offer Craig the veteran minimum to see how he performs under Lue’s coaching. If all goes well, Frank will pay the 34-year-old the amount he has earned.

That said, the Bulls’ decision to waive Craig is one that will rapidly backfire. He is a seasoned role player and one that could help any team striving for a banner.
