If Baba Miller gets stronger, he's set.

Of the main takeaways across both summer league games, one of the more obvious ones correlates to Baba Miller and his future as a star in the NBA. He’s absolutely dominated in his time on the court, and it’s gotten to the point where he looks too good compared to the Clippers’ competition, despite being a rookie. But, to really live up to the star expectations he’s slowly building, Miller needs to fulfill one major, difficult step: build muscle.

Though the athleticism, rebounding, defense, scoring, three-point shooting, and playmaking are all there, to peak and ultimately do what he’s doing in the summer league on a larger scale in the regular season, his current listed weight of 208 pounds won’t cut it.

Miller needs to hit the weight room, pick up the fork, and do everything he can to gain as much muscle as possible. Because once he does, it’s wraps for the rest of the NBA.

With added muscle, Baba Miller will easily become one of the best big men in the league

At the moment, Baba Miller literally looks like a man amongst boys in the summer league. He’s doing everything for the LA Clippers, particularly on offense, and his showing in the 22-point blowout win versus the Utah Jazz is a perfect example.

In 26 minutes, the Cincinnati product posted 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists, shooting 5-7 from the field and 2-3 from three.

What’s better? His debut didn’t look much different. Against the Sacramento Kings, in the six-point loss, Miller put up 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocks, shooting 3-4 from the field.

He's been literally unstoppable from start to finish throughout both contests, and if you watch the film, it’s clear as day he doesn’t belong in the summer league, in a good way.

As far as the worry on whether he’ll translate to the NBA, there is none. Miller is far too athletic, defensive-minded, and fit for today’s basketball to fail.

Literally all he needs to do is work with the Clippers’ training staff to build muscle in any way, shape, or form.

10-20 pounds at this stage of his career, over the next few seasons, could easily be the difference in Miller being a role player versus an All-Star.

So, get ready, Clipper Nation; you’re about to witness the next great center in an LA uniform, as long as he follows the correct steps to becoming the best version of himself.
