Over the course of the offseason, one event that truly signals the regular season is around the corner is the official schedule release. And over the past week, it finally happened.
The LA Clippers' full 82-game season has been announced, and without further ado, let’s dig right into the three dates that must be circled on the calendar.
3. November 2nd, Toronto Raptors vs. LA Clippers
Because of the blockbuster trade that took place in the offseason (assuming it goes through following the NBA’s investigation, fans of the LA Clippers should be looking forward to watching Kawhi Leonard return to the Intuit Dome.
There will certainly be a ton of emotion, especially during the expected tribute video, as Leonard spent seven seasons with the franchise and is easily the greatest player the team has ever had on its roster.
Additionally, it’ll be interesting to see how Brandon Ingram and, more importantly, Gradey Dick respond to the Raptors for being dealt, given how Toronto gave up on him after two seasons in the league.
If the trade gets rescinded, the vibe of the game will still be interesting for everyone involved.
2. December 20th, Indiana Pacers vs. LA Clippers
Since the trade deadline, when the LA Clippers made the tough, emotional decision to move on from Ivica Zubac, they have not hosted the Indiana Pacers with the Croatian Star suited up and ready to play.
He was injured for quite a while after the trade, and next season, on December 20th, Zubac will travel to the Intuit Dome for action.
This is a day that will bring out a ton of emotion, as Zubac is widely considered to be one of the greatest Clippers ever and an all-time fan favorite.

1. November 17th, Utah Jazz vs. LA Clippers
One of the most exciting moments of the summer for fans of the LA Clippers was watching fifth overall pick, Keaton Wagler, outplay arguably the best rookie in the class, Darryn Peterson.
Both had a good game, but by scoring 23 points, tallying four assists, and going on an unconscious scoring run in the third quarter, Wagler definitely won the matchup.
That said, it’ll be interesting to see how the rematch goes, and potentially the start of an exciting rivalry.
Will Wagler take over the spotlight once again? Will Peterson prove why he was the higher pick? Or will both dominate, showing they are on the same level?
