As the Boston Celtics are on the cusp of getting sent home in a disappointing fashion, the LA Clippers should do all they can to pursue a trade. When healthy, both of these teams have numerous similarities when it comes to star talent, depth, and coaching. This is a factor the Clippers’ front office should look into.

Furthermore, the Celtics are currently down 0-3, and their star duo of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are not showing up to win. This is a major issue, as it could be why Boston doesn’t see back-to-back finals appearances.

In the situation that the Celtics get swept by the Miami Heat, their front office will be looking to make some significant changes in the offseason. One of these changes may be to swap Brown for another superstar. Fortunately, the Clippers have the perfect piece to exchange with Boston.

The LA Clippers should pursue Jaylen Brown by any means possible.

Replacing Paul George for Jaylen Brown would be one of the best moves of the offseason for the LA Clippers. Brown would thrive next to Kawhi Leonard, and Russell Westbrook would dominate as well, assuming he resigns.

Additionally, a trade package between these two teams would be pretty straightforward. With Brown’s performances against the Miami Heat, the Clippers have plenty of leverage they can look to take advantage of. In fact, LA could also ask for draft compensation while only trading George and a player off the bench.

This trade benefits the Clippers in a variety of ways. However, the biggest bonus to this trade is that head coach Tyronn Lue receives a potential superstar with no health concerns. This could be the turning point of the franchise, as injuries have held LA back for over a decade.
