With the NBA All-Star game being one of the season’s biggest events, the LA Clippers will be represented by their two-way superstar, Paul George. Head coach Tyronn Lue has been running his game plan through George as several others have battled injuries. That said, George deserved this supreme accomplishment.

Through the LA Clippers’ struggles thus far, George has been a leader on and off the court. His presence in the locker room, on the sidelines, and to the fans has helped guide the team to where they need to be. This is a significant reason why the Clippers have won a stretch of games.

Additionally, George has been playing some of the most efficient basketball of his NBA career. Not only does he have a true shooting percentage of 59.2, but he is shooting 46.2% from the field on nearly eight attempts, which ranks in his top three since entering the league.

Paul George earned his All-Star selection.

Despite facing several injuries, LA Clippers superstar Paul George has held it down when the team has needed him. On top of the game-winners, he has led multiple comebacks and posed as a force on the defensive end of the court,

Furthermore, George is averaging 23.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.3 assists. In addition, he is posting 1.5 steals through 34.1 minutes per game. These numbers show the dominance on both sides of the ball through a high volume of playing time.

Moreover, it is safe to say that George deserved this selection over numerous competitors in the Western Conference. Though the league may be talented, George is playing top-tier basketball as he makes his way to the eighth All-Star selection of his career.
