2. Continued love between both sides

Despite Beverley playing for the cross-town rival, the LA Clippers will always appreciate his presence. On the court, the game can be played at a very high level. However, off the court, it will always be nothing but love for the former Clipper.

Beverley has a very strong connection with many players on the Clippers. Recently, Paul George invited Beverley to his wedding, showing how close these two are despite not being on the same team. Additionally, Terance Mann is also very close with Beverley, as they continue to support each other throughout their NBA careers.

One player in specific who has an unbreakable connection with Beverley is Ivica Zubac. Beverley has stated several times that he speaks with Zubac frequently and makes sure that he is doing well. Last season, Beverley went to a Clippers game unannounced to support his former team during the All-Star break. Beverley made sure the world understood their strong connection as he arrived in a Zubac jersey.

Beverley is one of the few former Clippers who could end up on any team in the NBA and still be loved by the organization. Beverley ending up on the Lakers only makes the bond stronger. He understands that the Clippers’ front office made a business decision when trading him and that there were never any harsh feelings.

Without Beverley, the Clippers franchise would currently be upside down. It is clear how grateful Steve Balmer and Lawrence Frank are for Beverley as he helped transform the Clippers franchise into what it is today.
