Anxious to prove a point, Reggie Jackson had his own little rivalry against Maryland whenever they came into town. On most nights, Jackson would light up the scoreboards whenever they walked into his gym. Or, if his Boston College squad just so happen to be on the road, Jackson thoroughly enjoyed leaving the crowd speechless with his play. On December 12th, 2010, Maryland found itself on the wrong end of another Reggie Jackson offensive explosion.
Innocuous defender after innocuous defender fell by the wayside as Jackson got things going early. Although he would finish the game with 27 points, it was Maryland who grabbed a two-point lead heading into the halftime locker room.
The smiling faces of Maryland players were transient, however, as Boston College and Jackson got it going in the second half, leading to a four-point victory.
In addition to Jackson scoring efficiently, connecting on 64.3% of his shots, he also chipped in all-around the board with five rebounds and two steals.
