With 30 days remaining until the 2022 NBA Draft, we want to take a look back at how the LA Clippers have generally done with their first-round selections.

Ironically enough, the Clippers don’t have a first-rounder this year thanks to the treasure chest of picks they gave up to get their hands on Paul George. Still, George is a generational talent, so LA isn’t complaining when it comes to their lack of draft capital this year.

The Clippers won’t be complete bystanders in the draft though, as they have the 43rd overall pick. But who would the Clippers have taken if they crept into the first round? More importantly, how have LA done with first-round picks throughout their history?

To kick things off, we’ll be taking a look at every number one overall pick taken by the Clippers and rank them accordingly. Tomorrow, we’ll take a look at the franchise’s number two overall selections throughout their history and so on until draft day arrives.
