Terance Mann

Clipper stats: 7.6 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 1.9 apg

We’ll admit, it’s incredibly early in the career of Terance Mann. Still, considering his continued improvement and the plays he’s made both offensively and defensively, we have a feeling that Mann will prove us right for having him so high on our list.

Mann was far from a one-and-done prospect at the colligate level. The former Florida State player needed all four years to improve his game. By the time his senior season came and went, however, Mann was an unimpressive prospect. As a well-seasoned college baller, Mann averaged just 11.4 points per game to go along with 6.5 rebounds. On a whim, the LA Clippers decided to take the plunge and draft Mann with their 48th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Much like his college days, Mann began his career with pedestrian numbers, dropping just 2.4 points per game. In year two, Mann made minuscule strides, averaging seven points a night. Nevertheless, Mann had the performance of a lifetime during the 2021 NBA Playoffs.

Against who many believed was a stellar Utah Jazz defense, Mann torched his defenders all night, going for 39 points and leading the Clippers to a Game 6 victory in the Western Conference Semis. This past season, all signs continue to point in the right direction. Mann hasn’t quite become one of the league’s best scorers but at 10.8 points per game, he’s become an important member of coach Ty Lue’s bench unit.
